Are electronic games a legitimate sport Free Essays
First of all Iââ¬â¢d like to thanks you all for coming here today. My name is Yang Demount and I am from France. I am an exchange student In Nina university and I am majoring In business administration. We will write a custom essay sample on Are electronic games a legitimate sport or any similar topic only for you Order Now Today we are going to ask ourselves if electronic games are a legitimate sport. Iââ¬â¢d like to ask you to keep any questions you may have for the end of the presentation First of all, what is a sport? Sport: Definition Sport come from the middle aged word dessert, which mean distraction, physical or mental pleasure According to sport accord, the umbrella organization for all Olympics and non- Olympics sports, a sport is defined as an activity that have an element of competition is in no way harmful to any living creature do not rely on any ââ¬Å"luckâ⬠element specifically designed into the sport Now we are going to see what does make electronic games a sport. ? First, we have to say that we are going to take only a limited amount of video games Statecraft, warrant 3, data, league of legend, counter strike, quake. I only selected ere video games I know, and which are played on computer. Also, I am going to refer Cybernetic Professional League World Cyber Games Major League Gaming Electronic Sports World Cup World exports Games CUP china now WAG Korea MOL North America SEWS France HEM Asia/clan There are also world championships specific to each game. For example, last Saturday, there where the final of league of legend In the staples center, In the united States Because there are competitions, there are also a lot of things which are like traditional sports. TEAM. On league of legend, the best one is SST TTL . Here are also coaches, and transfer between team, just like the football Mercado. Also, as you can see in the team name, there are many sponsors. For example, as I said, tam names are SST TTL, Samsung ozone and NANJING black sword, In league of legend. Those we call sportsman are those video games professionals. And they do train like professional. They play 10-12 hour a day at their game; they have a coach, speak about strategy, counter strategy, and practice hard to be on the top. Exactly like Mess and Ronald would do. Why video games are a mind game? There is a lot of data professional player have to learn by heart. For Statecraft for example, they have to lean all units strength and weaknesses, spells, they have to gather resources and watch their population Limit, create units to attack the enemy base and In the same teamwork and focus. Because electronic games do match the definition of sport, because chess are a mind sport and electronic games requires as preparation and focus than playing chess they have to be considered as a sport. Project Management Toolbox Tools Techniques -Myassignmenthelp.Com
Question: Discuss About The Project Management Toolbox Tools Techniques? Answer: Introducation In my study, I have learnt that project management methodologies can be used to design a systematic project management. Developing a proper project management has been a challenge to many business managers. The specifications of a project should be established before starting the planning phase, as the stakeholders must be informed of the deliverables of the project. Portfolio Reflection Each functional role in a project must be identified before commencing the execution phase. The Work Breakdown Structure is a method where each functional division is further decomposed into smaller fragments of work. The entire project timeline is divided into several bits of time intervals. Each task is assigned a time interval within which it must be completed. WBS increases the project planning efficiency. However, we must be aware of the certain limitations to using this process. The person using WBS to plan a project must not decompose or the break the tasks down into too many pieces. This would make the entire process inefficient, as too much effort would be wasted on completing multiple similar bits of work and documenting them separately. I have also learnt that the project manager must consider the interdepartmental teamwork skills before assigning them work that would require them to perform as a team. A healthy team dynamics is needed to properly execute a project and wit hout teamwork, the project is bound to fail. The top management in a project holds the most important responsibilities, as that person is responsible for the success or failure of a project. I have seen that these responsibilities include managing the project, managing the team responsible for the project and most importantly supervising that the outcome of the project meets the entire requirement of the client. Most of the time the client is unable to convey their exact requirement to the accounting team. Information is often altered and manipulated in the transition process. Therefore, according to my understanding, it is the duty of the project manager to deliver what the client needs and not what the client wants. A statement of work is needed to provide a documented information to the client about the details of the plans and the timeline of the project. SOW is utilized to give the clients a timeframe and the outcome that they should expect from the project in that period. It is also essential that similar projects must maintain similar outcomes. A uniformity in quality and productivity must be maintained to provide value assurance to the client. A project manager thus needs to develop certain plans that determines the execution and the outcome of the project. These plans aids in developing strategic and tactical ideas for the project that would assist in making the operational plan successful. A contingency plan is developed as well that would tend to unanticipated events. These plans are a part of the risk management process that is desired to prevent failures in projects. From the literature, I can conclude that a good project manager always has a perfect contingency plan. Reference List Ashtiani, B. N., Jiang, Q., Tayah, M., Welcker, B. L., Patton, T. Ways Domestic Violence Can Affect Individuals free essay sample
Domestic violence is a pattern of behavior used to establish power and control over another individual through fear and intimidation, which often includes threats or violence. The effects of domestic violence could be long term or short term. A long term effect of domestic violence is physical injuries that can cause arthritis, hypertension, or heart disease. A short term effect of domestic violence could be anxiety or depression. Physical or emotional abuse may lead to suicide or murder. Domestic violence is brought about as a result of things that could have happened in an individualââ¬â¢s childhood, or later in life. Domestic violence could start when one partner feels the need to control or dominate the other. People sometimes feel the need to control another person because they were bullied in the past. In addition to that, one partner may feel inferior to the other partner. A spouse might have a higher education than the other, or a better paying job. We will write a custom essay sample on Ways Domestic Violence Can Affect Individuals or any similar topic specifically for you Do Not WasteYour Time HIRE WRITER Only 13.90 / page One other reason is because that individual might have witness his or her parents being abused and he/she might feel the need to be like them. Domestic abuse is also linked to poor self esteem. A child growing up in a violent home is likely to have little self worth. When children are brought down to amount to nothing, it could also play a major role in self esteem. Anger is a major source of fuel that will fan the flames of domestic violence. When a person has so much anger and hate from verbal or physical abuse that happened in the past, eventually it will come out in the form of violence. Drug and/ or alcohol abuse may be a precursor to domestic violence. Substance abuse leads to out of control behavior. The numbers of communality within the dynamics of most alcohol families have poor emotional health. Emotional health leads to secondary anger, which is an effective substitute for dealing honestly with emotions. In the end, domestic violence can happen to anyone no matter your race, size, or gender. The little things that resemble your partner trying to control could lead to domestic violence. Domestic violence can come in two ways, verbally or physically. Never wait to get out; this could lead to death or serious injuries. Many wait to late, and regret their decision not to receive help. All in all, look at the causes so you do not have to worry about the effects.

Conjugating Spanish Verbs in the Conditional Tense
Conjugating Spanish Verbs in the Conditional Tense The conjugation of the conditional tense is fairly straightforward, because all three types of verbs (-ar, -er and -ir) use the same ending, and the ending is applied to the infinitive rather than to a portion of the verb. Also, there are few irregular verbs in the conditional. These are the endings that are applied to turn an infinitive to a verb in the conditional tense: First-person singular (I): -à aSecond-person singular (familiar you): -à asThird-person singular (he, she, formal you): -à aFirst-person plural (we): -à amosSecond-person plural (familiar you): -à aisThird-person plural (they, familiar you): -à an As an example, here are the conjugated forms of vivir (to live) using the same pattern as is applied to all regular verbs. Yo vivirà a, I would liveTà º vivirà as, you (informal singular) would liveUsted, à ©l, ella vivirà a, you (formal singular), he, she would liveNosotros, nosotras vivirà amos, we would liveVosotros, vosotras vivirà ais, you (informal plural) would liveEllos, ellas ustedes vivirà an, they, you (plural formal) would live You may notice that the endings attached to the infinitives are the same as the endings of haber in the imperfect, just as the endings attached to infinitives to make the future tense are the same as the endings of haberà (but with added accent marks) in the present tense. And theres another similarity with the future tense: Some verbs are irregular in the future tense in that the ending is attached to a variation of the stem rather than to the infinitive. The same verbs that are irregular in the future tense are irregular in the conditional, and in the same way. So just as the first-person future of tener is tendrà © instead of tenerà ©, the first-person conditional of tener is tendrà a instead of tenerà a. The same pattern is followed for the other persons, with this being the full conjugation of tener in the conditional: tendrà a, tendrà as, tendrà a, tendrà amos, tendrà ais, tendrà an. Common Verbs With Irregular in the Conditional Here are the most common verbs that are irregular in the conditional: Caber (to fit): cabrà a, cabrà as Decir (to say): dirà a, dirà as Haber (to have): habrà a, habrà as Hacer (to do or make): harà a, harà asPoder (to be able): podrà a, podrà as Poner (to put): pondrà a, pondrà as Querer (to want): querrà a, querrà as Saber (to know): sabrà a, sabrà asSalir (to leave): saldrà a, saldrà as Valer (to be worth): valdrà a, valdrà as Venir (to come): vendrà a, vendrà as The other verbs that are irregular in the conditional are based on these verbs. For example, proponer follows the pattern of poner, and deshacer follows the pattern of hacer. Finally, here are some examples of sentences using the conditional: Te amarà a si supiera tu nombre. I would love you if I knew your name.No comprarà amos tantas cosas. We would never buy so many things.Si me preguntan, yo dirà a que lo mejor es decir no. If they ask me, I would say that the best thing is to say no.Nos decà an que no saldrà amos vivos. They told us we would not leave alive.Si recomendaran mi libro à ¿lo leerà an ustedes? If they were to recommend my book, would you read it?

#1 - Assignment Example In addition, the efforts put by the government during the period also made citizens appreciate institutions in general. The article is of the assumption that since the terrorist attack the society perception of the social circles and institutions has never changed. In the article The Strange Disappearance of Civil America, the American population is created with an image that depicts its ignorance on social relationships. Different from ancient American social setting, the modern day society do not value the significance of creating social relationships. Putman acknowledges this trend to numerous factors that derail persons from participating in social activities (2). For instance, the author cites the increased role of women, economic constraints, family acquaintances and technologically based distractions. According to Putman the trend is growing (10). Children are more inclined to television and other technological advances thus ignoring the importance of social circles. With society preferences changing to suit more personal needs, the traditional social setting would never be embraced by the modern

Macbeth Act 3 Coursework Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 250 words
Macbeth Act 3 - Coursework Example Explain Macbeth does see Fleance as a threat to his throne as, according to witchesââ¬â¢ prophecies, Banquoââ¬â¢s sons will rule the country. However, he does not see the bay as a threat yet ââ¬â the boy is too small. Macbeth is more afraid of the boyââ¬â¢s father ââ¬â Banquo. 3. Do you feel any sympathy at all for Lady Macbeth as she talks about her "doubtful joy" in scene 2? Explain. It is a pathetic sight ââ¬â a queen, having no joy in life, because the way she got what she wanted was so wrong. She lives in fear that their guilt will be discovered. à Nought's had, all's spent, /à Where our desire is got without content; /'Tis safer to be that which we destroy / Than by destruction dwell in doubtful joy. (3.2.6-9) Her life is empty and she even envies the king Duncan - she says it is ââ¬Å"saferâ⬠to be in his place. On the other hand we do understand that she suffers greatly because of her own evil choice. Her ill conscience and a lack of joy is the sad consequence of the conspiracy and murder she took a part in. She finds no peace either during the day, nor can she sleep peacefully at night. 4. Quote and explain a line in this scene which helps develop the theme of sleeplessness. The theme of sleeplessness started back in the act 2 when Macbeth murdered the king. He heard the voice then: ââ¬Å"Glamis hath murdered sleep, and therefore Cawdor /Shall sleep no more.
